The authority said this year's Eid journey was completed smoothly and peacefully due to coordinated efforts by government agencies and effective traffic management measures. Despite heavy traffic pressure, no major accidents or prolonged congestion were reported on the country's major highway corridors.
According to the statement, advance planning, enhanced traffic control and close coordination among relevant agencies helped ensure a relatively comfortable and orderly travel experience for millions of holidaymakers returning home for Eid.
