2 arrested in DRU attack case

Police have arrested two persons in connection with a case filed over Friday's attack at professional organization of journalists, Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU).

Miscreants attacked the employees of the DRU around 11am on Friday leaving three people injured.

Shahbagh Police sent the accused to the court on Saturday (March 29).

Shahbagh Police Sub-Inspector Selim Reza said that two accused named Abdur Rahman, 40, and Ujjwal, 38, have been identified and arrested.

Investigation is underway to quickly bring the rest miscreants under the law.
