Aga Khan Gold Cup golf tournament concludes

The three day long 51st Aga Khan Gold Cup Golf Tournament concluded recently at Kurmitola Golf Club in Dhaka Cantonment.

Chief of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan distributed the prizes among the winners of the tournament as the chief guest on January 18 at the Banquet Hall of Kurmitola Golf Club, says a press release.

Brigadier General M Zahid Hasan (retd) became winner in the tournament, while Major Sk Md Yousuf Reza (retd) became Runner Up and Shamim Ara Sadeque became female winner.

National Defence College commandant, and Vice President, Kurmitola Golf Club Lieutenant General Mohammad Shaheenul Haque, Prince Aga Khan Council for Bangladesh President Madad Ali Virani, Kurmitola Golf Club Captain Brigadier General Md Towhid Hossain, Tournament Director Brigadier General Abidur Reza Khan (Retd), Kurmitola Golf Club Secretary Colonel S M Sazzad Hossain, Kurmitola Golf Club Chief Executive Officer Colonel Md Shahidul Haque (Retd), Kurmitola Golf Club Lady Captain Prof Shahin Mahbuba Haque, Kurmitola Golf Club General Manager (club affairs) Lieutenant Colonel Abu Md Sayedur Rahman (Retd), Kurmitola Golf Club General Manager (golf operations) Lieutenant Colonel Md Anwar Hossain (Retd), high officials of Bangladesh Air Force and members of Prince Aga Khan Council for Bangladesh and officials of the Kurmitola Golf Club were also present in the ceremony. A large number of participants and high civil and military officials with their spouse attended the function.

Mentionable, Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, inaugurated the tournament as the chief guest on January 17.
