Art exhibition 'The Story of Art' kicks off

An art exhibition titled "The Story of Art" organized by Dhaka Storytellers has begun at Aloki Greenhouse in Tejgaon link road in the capital since Friday. At the exhibition paintings of 28 renowned artists of the country have been placed.

In the exhibition, paintings of country's renowned artist Professor Emeritus Rafiqun Nabi "Art Talk" along with the paintings of Shahabuddin Ahmed, Monirul Islam, Hamiduzzaman Khan, Abdus Shakur Shah and indigenous paintings of Kanak Chapa Chakma are the center of attraction for art lovers.

Although the 6-day exhibition at the Aloki Greenhouse is yet to garner overwhelming response from visitors, those who came to enjoy it said that the bright and diverse art world of Bangladesh has been revealed in the exhibition.
The organizer of this exhibition, Dhaka Storytellers, informed that "The Story of Art" is a unique art exhibition, through which art lovers will be able to get a unique experience.
They also informed that they will spend the money received from the exhibition directly on the rural education sector in Bangladesh. The exhibition will end on 13 February.
