CNG stations to remain closed for 5 hrs during Ramadan
The Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources has fixed closing time of compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling stations from 5.00pm to 10.00 pm (5-hour) during Ramadan.
According to an instruction of the ministry, it rescheduled the opening and closing time of CNG refueling stations and set five hours for closing time during Ramadan in order to mitigate possible low-pressure of gas distribution network during the peak hours of electricity.
From 1st Ramadan, 2024 to 6th April, 2024, the CNG station closing time will be 5.00pm to 10.00pm (5-hour), which was earlier 6.00pm to 11.00pm.
Necessary measures should be taken to keep CNG stations open round-the-clock from April 7-18, 2024 to facilitate supply of fuel for vehicle movement on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
After the Eid, CNG stations will remain closed from 6 pm to 11 pm from April 19, 2024, as before.
