Khaled Hasan, one of the central co-coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, might have disappeared due to the influence of Jinn, claimed his father.

When Khaled, a student of the Arabic department of Dhaka University and the central coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement, returned to the campus four days after his disappearance, a sensation was created around him. It was believed that he had been kidnapped and was forcefully disappeared. But after returning four days later, Khaled and his father gave different information.

Khaled's father Lutfar Rahman claimed that Khaled was not kidnapped. Rather, he might have disappeared under the influence of the jinn.

Lutfar Rahman said this at a press conference organized by the Dhaka University Journalists' Association on Thursday (December 26).

Responding to a question about whether such a disappearance had happened before, he said: "It happened once in his school life when he was in 9th-10th grade, and later I found him. Even then, he could not tell where he was. The matter was between us. The matter ended like that as I got my child back. But this time too, there were doubts. I have also informed everyone about this matter."

Quoting the doctor, Khaled's father said that he is currently completely mentally and physically sound. More information about Khaled's mental condition will be known after some more tests on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Khaled said: 'I vaguely remember our car stopping in front of a petrol pump in Sunamganj. There were four people with me at that time. Later, I remember going to Panchagarh and having rice with beef. But I cannot remember anything clearly. After that, I found myself in Barisal. From there, I took a bus and came down to Sayedabad. Later, I heard from my family members that I was missing for six days when I was in the 9th grade."

Claiming to be completely sound now, he said: "I still don't understand what happened to me during these four days."

Khaled, the co-coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement, had been missing since December 20. He returned to the hall on December 24, four days after his disappearance. Later that night, he was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital due to his poor physical and mental condition.

After his physical condition improved, he spoke in detail about his disappearance at a press conference.
