DU science unit admission test rescheduled

The date of the Dhaka University (DU) Science Unit admission test has been changed in coordination with the first phase of the Bishwa Ijtema. The administration has decided to conduct this admission test on February 15 instead of February 1. The test will start at 11 am.

Dhaka University announced this information on its website on Friday (January 24).

This unit received the highest number of applications in the 2024-25 academic year. This year, a total of more than 135,000 students applied to the Science Unit. Therefore, the administration has taken this decision to reduce the proximity of the date with the first phase of the Bishwa Ijtema, the notification said.

The notification said that this decision has been taken for their convenience as a large number of candidates participate in the Science Unit admission test.

Comparatively, very few candidates participate in the Business Education Unit admission test. Therefore, the Business Education Unit exam on February 8 will start at 11 am as previously announced.

Dhaka University admission test revised dates are as follows, 25th January Arts, Law, Social Sciences, 15th February Science Unit and 8th February Business Education Unit.
