M Enayetur Rahim serving as acting Chief Justice

Justice M Enayetur Rahim, a senior judge of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, will perform as acting chief justice from March 22 to March 31, in the absence of Chief Justice Obaidul Hassan due to a week-long visit to the US.

This information was revealed in a press release issued by the Supreme Court on Saturday (March 23).

During the visit, Obaidul Hassan is expected to meet the US chief justice on March 27. He will return to Bangladesh on March 31.
