More than 90 percent fail in DU intake test

The results of the admission test of the Arts, Law and Social Sciences units of Dhaka University (DU) have been published.

The pass rate is only 9.85 percent while 90.15 percent of the students who participated in the admission test failed.

The results were published at 7pm on Thursday (March 6).

The admission test was held in various divisional cities including Dhaka on January 25. Out of 125,499 applicants, 114,904 participated in it. In addition, the records of 108 candidates were canceled.

The total number of passers in the test is 11,310. Of these, 5,714 are from humanities, 4,857 from science and 739 from business education.
