School admission lottery results published

The results prepared through a digital online lottery for admission to government and private secondary schools from class one to class nine in the 2025 academic year have been published.

The results were published on Tuesday (December 17) at the auditorium of the International Mother Language Institute. The results can be viewed through the website and SMS.

The results prepared through a digital online lottery with the technical support of Teletalk for admission to government and private secondary schools from class one to class nine in the 2025 academic year under the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education have been published. Online admission applications were accepted from November 12 to November 31 in 680 government and 3,198 private secondary schools.

For admissions from first to ninth grade nationwide, 680 government schools received 635,072 applications against 1,08,716 vacant seats. 3,019 private schools received 348,467 applications against 1,07,673 vacant seats.

The chief guest at the program was Professor Dr. M Aminul Islam, Special Assistant (State Minister rank) to the Ministry of Education. Special guests were present - Siddique Jobayer, Senior Secretary, Secondary and Higher Education Division, Ministry of Education, Dr. Kh. M. Kabirul Islam, Secretary, Technical and Madrasa Education Division, Ministry of Education, Nurul Mabud Chowdhury, Managing Director of Teletalk Bangladesh Limited. The Director General (Routine Responsibilities) of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, Professor M. Mozakkar Hossain Chowdhury, presided over the program.
