Students of 7 colleges withdraw besiege of Police station programme
The program of students of seven colleges to besiege New Market Police Station and block Dhaka University buses has been withdrawn.
After a meeting with Home Affairs Adviser Lieutenant General (retd) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury and Information and Broadcasting Adviser Nahid Islam at the Secretariat on Tuesday (January 28), representatives of seven college students said this.
Dhaka College student Moinul Islam said that the government is positive about our six-point demands. Those that were to be fulfilled immediately have been fulfilled.
He said, 'We had given a program that after 24 hours, we would not allow Dhaka University buses and other buses to ply in front of seven colleges and we have withdrawn the program that we had given to siege New Market Police Station.
