Tribunal issues public notice seeking info on July-August massacre
The investigation agency of the International Criminal Tribunal has issued public notice in various newspapers asking for information about the massacre of anti-discrimination students during the period from July 1 to August 5. The public notice signed by the organization's coordinator Mazharul Haque was issued on Saturday.
The public notice states that, if anyone has any information, documents, pictures, audio/video clips, in connection with the killings, serious injuries, arson, looting and other crimes committed by the various forces of the then government and Awami League-led coalition parties, affiliated organizations, loyal or appointed illegal arms holders, criminal individuals or groups with the aim of suppressing the student movement from July 1 to August 5, they are requested to contact the investigating agency, International Criminal Tribunal, Dhaka office to use it for proof agains the crimes. Necessary confidentiality will be maintained in this regard.
