VEON chairman meets BTRC chairman

A high-level delegation from VEON, the parent company of Banglalink, met Major General (Retd) Md Emdad-Ul-Bari, Chairman of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), on Tuesday (January 28). The delegation was led by Board Chairman and Founder, Augie K. Fabela, and the meeting took place at the BTRC office in capital's Agargaon.

The meeting focused on the development of Bangladesh's digital sector, the challenges currently facing the telecommunications industry, and VEON's future plans for expanding its business, especially in connection with Banglalink.
