Fascists are trying to rear its head through assassination attempt on Hadi: Mirza Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that fascists are trying to hold their heads high through assassination attempt on Inqilab Mancha spokesperson and potential independent candidate for Dhaka-8 constituency Sharif Osman Hadi.

He said this at a discussion meeting organized by the Jatiyatabadi Muktijoddha Dal in Kakrail on Sunday (December 14).

The BNP Secretary General said that the defeated fascists are trying to raise their heads through assassination attempt on Hadi. Even if attempts are made to degrade BNP through social media, they will not be able to succeed. The young generation must stop such plans.

He also said that there are two types of forces in the upcoming elections, one is a liberal pro-democratic force and the other is a backward force, who want to divide the country in the name of religion. He mentioned that this force is rising again, just like it did in 1971, and they are trying to build a new Bangladesh.

Mirza Fakhrul warned that we will not allow the revival of new fascists. The people of Bangladesh will make the right decision in the upcoming elections.

At the event, BNP Chairperson's Adviser Abdus Salam said that it is clear to the people which force is participating in the elections. BNP has a glorious past, which needs to be analyzed. On the other hand, those who are creating division in the name of religion also have a past, but it is not a glorious one.
