Fazlur Rahman dedicates victory to Bangabandhu, Ziaur Rahman

BNP candidate for Kishoreganj-4 (Itna-Mithamoin-Ashtagram) constituency, senior advocate and brave freedom fighter Fazlur Rahman has been elected unofficially. He won by a margin of 77,704 votes with a total of 132,503 votes under the paddy sheaf symbol.

His nearest rival, Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Advocate Rokon Reza Sheikh, received 54,799 votes. There are a total of 151 centers in the constituency and these results have been known based on the result sheets received by agents from all centers.

After winning, Fazlur Rahman said, "I would like to dedicate this victory to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, President Ziaur Rahman and all freedom fighters."
