First meeting of 13th Parliamentary Committee today

The first meeting of the parliamentary committee of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad will be held today (Saturday) as part of efforts to make parliamentary activities more dynamic.

According to Parliament Secretariat sources, the meeting will take place at 11:00am in the Cabinet Room (Level-2) of the Secretariat.

Later in the day, at 4:00pm, ruling party members of parliament will hold a separate meeting at the government party conference room in the parliament building.

As the first committee meeting under the new parliament, it is expected to provide initial guidance on several key issues.

Discussions are likely to focus on the current political situation, legislative activities, and the parliament’s future work plan.

Officials believe these meetings will play an important role in activating and streamlining regular parliamentary functions.

The first session of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad began on March 12.
