Five Eid-ul-Azha congregations to be held at Baitul Mukarram

The Islamic Foundation has announced that five Eid-ul-Azha congregations will be held sequentially at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque on May 28.

According to a press release issued on Thursday (May 21), the Eid jamaats will be held at 7:00am, 8:00am, 9:00am, 10:00am and 10:45am.

The first congregation at 7:00am will be led by Hafez Maulana Mufti Md. Mizanur Rahman, while Qari Ishaq will serve as the mukabbir.

The second jamaat, scheduled for 8:00am, will be led by Dr. Maulana Waliur Rahman Khan, with Md. Nasir Ullah serving as mukabbir.

Mufti Md. Abdullah will lead the third congregation at 9:00am, while Md. Ruhul Amin will perform duties as mukabbir.

The fourth jamaat at 10:00am will be led by Maulana Mohammad Nur Uddin, with Md. Abdul Hadi serving as mukabbir.

The fifth and final congregation will begin at 10:45am. It will be led by Zubair Ahmad Al-Azhari, while Md. Amir Hossain will serve as mukabbir.

The Islamic Foundation also said that if any designated imam is unable to attend, Md. Shahidul Islam will act as the alternate imam. Md. Shamsul Haque has been assigned as the standby mukabbir.
