Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman to visit Russia on official trip

Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman is set to undertake an official bilateral visit to Russia, with his departure for Moscow scheduled for June 6, officials said on Thursday (June 4).

According to sources at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Adviser Humayun Kabir will accompany him on the three-day visit, which is expected to conclude on June 9.

The ministry confirmed the development, noting that the visit aims to strengthen diplomatic engagement between Dhaka and Moscow.

Russian Foreign Ministry officials have also expressed commitment to deepening constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries during the upcoming talks.

The visit is expected to focus on key areas of bilateral relations, particularly enhancing diplomatic and economic cooperation between Bangladesh and Russia.
