Free AI training for youth, Tk 200 daily allowance offered

The Department of Youth Development is offering free basic training in artificial intelligence (AI) to young people across the country, with selected participants also receiving a daily travel allowance.

The training is being offered under the department’s project to develop the skills of IT-literate youth through AI technology.

Applications for the second batch will remain open until 11:59pm on September 23.

The 50-day course will run from October 1 to November 30, with 50 classes providing six hours of training a day, or 300 hours in total.

Applicants must be aged 18 to 35, have completed higher secondary or equivalent education, and possess basic computer and information technology skills.

After submitting the online application, candidates must download and preserve a copy of the form. Shortlisted applicants will sit for a written test on September 26 and a viva on September 27.

The final list will be published on September 29, with selected candidates also notified by SMS.

Participants will receive Tk 200 a day as a travel allowance, along with meals during the training. Certificates will be awarded upon completion of the course.
