Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) has changed the schedule for unloading fuel from depots to ensure uninterrupted fuel supply to filling stations and pumps across the country. Under the new directive, fuel supply operations from major installations and depots will now run daily from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. This information was shared in a notification signed by BPC Secretary Shahina Sultana on Saturday, March 28. The notification stated that the decision was made to maintain normal and uninterrupted fuel supply across the country. Previously, fuel supply from depots operated from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily. The new schedule is expected to bring greater efficiency to the supply system.

বাংলাদেশ পেট্রোলিয়াম করপোরেশন (বিপিসি) দেশব্যাপী ফিলিং স্টেশন ও পাম্পগুলোতে জ্বালানি তেলের নিরবচ্ছিন্ন সরবরাহ নিশ্চিত করতে ডিপো থেকে তেল খালাসের সময়সূচিতে পরিবর্তন এনেছে। নতুন নির্দেশনা অনুযায়ী, এখন থেকে দেশের প্রধান স্থাপনা ও ডিপোগুলো থেকে প্রতিদিন সকাল ৭টা থেকে বিকেল ৩টা পর্যন্ত জ্বালানি পণ্য সরবরাহ কার্যক্রম পরিচালিত হবে। শনিবার (২৮ মার্চ) বিপিসির সচিব শাহিনা সুলতানা স্বাক্ষরিত এক বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়। বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বলা হয়েছে, সারা দেশে জ্বালানি তেলের স্বাভাবিক ও নিরবচ্ছিন্ন সরবরাহ বজায় রাখতেই এই সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছে। এর আগে প্রতিদিন সকাল ৯টা থেকে বিকেল ৫টা পর্যন্ত ডিপো থেকে জ্বালানি পণ্য সরবরাহ কার্যক্রম চলত। নতুন সময়সূচির মাধ্যমে সরবরাহ ব্যবস্থায় আরও কার্যকারিতা আসবে বলে আশা করা হচ্ছে।
