Gas supply to remain off for 11hrs in parts of Dhaka on Monday
Gas supply will be suspended for 11 hours on Monday (7 July) in several areas of the capital due to the relocation of gas pipelines under the DND Canal excavation project in Dhaka and Narayanganj.
In a press release issued on Sunday (6 July), Titas Gas authorities announced that gas supply to all categories of consumers will remain suspended from 8:00am to 7:00pm in the following areas: Tengra, Bahir Tengra, Hajinagar, Amtola, Borovanga, Kodaldhoa, Sanarpar, Nimaikashari, Nama Shyampur, Zia Sarani, Japanese Bazar, Titas Gas Road, Chapra Mosjid, Ruposhi Bangla Hospital, Shanir Akhra, RS Tower area, Gobindapur, Matuail, Mridhabari, Kajla, Vanga Bridge, Demra, Staff Quarter, Amulia, Paiti, Zahid Steel, Shahriar Steel, Dharmik Para, and Council area.
Additionally, gas pressure may be low in surrounding areas. Titas Gas authorities have apologized to customers for this temporary inconvenience.
