Gas supply to remain suspended for 5 hrs in several areas today

Gas supply will remain suspended for five consecutive hours in several areas of Narayanganj on Wednesday, January 21, due to emergency maintenance work on the gas network.

In a notice, Titas Gas said repair and replacement work will be carried out on damaged gas pipelines in front of Panchabati intersection and the main CNG station under the road expansion and flyover construction project from Panchabati to Muktarpur Bridge. As a result, gas supply will remain suspended from 1.00 pm to 6.00 pm on Wednesday.

During this period, all categories of consumers in Narayanganj city, Munshiganj city, Panchabati, Muktarpur, Siddhirganj, Mouchak, Delpara, Pagla and Fatullah, along with surrounding areas excluding the Adamjee EPZ area, will remain without gas supply.

Titas Gas authorities have sincerely apologised to consumers for the temporary inconvenience.
