GM Quader congratulates Suvendu Adhikari on becoming West Bengal CM

Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader has congratulated Suvendu Adhikari, the newly elected Chief Minister of West Bengal. The congratulatory message was sent through the Indian High Commission in Dhaka on Monday, May 11, and was also shared on GM Quader's verified Facebook profile.

Suvendu Adhikari, a BJP leader, took oath as Chief Minister of West Bengal on Sunday, May 10.

In his message, GM Quader praised the leadership of Suvendu Adhikari. Describing the BJP's victory as 'historic' and Suvendu's chief ministership as a 'milestone', Quader said this success is significant not only for the BJP but also for West Bengal's democratic journey.

Quader mentioned in the message that from the Nandigram movement to his long political career in the assembly and parliament, Suvendu has demonstrated resilience and built strong connections with grassroots people. He said that under Suvendu's leadership, new horizons of trade, culture and mutual cooperation will open up between West Bengal and Bangladesh, further strengthening the ties between the people of the two Bengals.
