Government assigns 101 joint secretaries to ministries
The government has attached 101 newly promoted joint secretaries, currently serving as Officers on Special Duty (OSD) under the Ministry of Public Administration, to various ministries and departments.
A notification signed by Senior Assistant Secretary Jeti Pru was issued on Sunday, July 12.
The attached officials will serve in their respective ministries until further orders.
The ministries and divisions include Industry, Finance, Local Government, Health Services, Health Education and Family Welfare, Home, Agriculture, Commerce, Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Secondary and Higher Education, Cabinet, Planning, Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Road Transport and Highways, Shipping, Science and Technology, Information and Communication Technology, Labour and Employment, Defence, Religious Affairs, and Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment.
The order takes immediate effect in the public interest.
