Government to hold press briefing this afternoon
The government will hold a press briefing this afternoon to mark five months since assuming office following the 13th National Parliamentary Election.
The briefing is scheduled to begin at 3:30pm on Saturday (July 18) at the Karabi Hall of the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) in the capital's Tejgaon.
Officials from the Prime Minister's Press Wing will outline the government's key initiatives, policy decisions, achievements, and future priorities during its first five months in office.
Prime Minister's Adviser and PMO Spokesperson Mahdi Amin will attend the briefing, alongside Press Secretary Saleh Shibly, Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Rumon, and other senior members of the Press Wing.
The current government, led by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, assumed office on February 17 after the 13th National Parliamentary Election held on February 12.
The briefing is expected to highlight the administration's performance over the past five months and its roadmap for the period ahead.
