Government will bear all expenses of Hadi's treatment: Chief Adviser

The government will bear all expenses of the treatment of Sharif Osman Hadi, the spokesperson of the Inqilab Manch and independent candidate for Dhaka-8 constituency, said Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus.

The Chief Adviser gave the assurance in a phone conversation with Osman Hadi's brother on Friday night.

During the phone conversation at 9 pm, the Chief Adviser said that the Advisory Council is deeply concerned and saddened by the attack on Osman Hadi.

Assuring maximum cooperation from the government, the Chief Adviser told Osman Hadi's brother: "I have held an emergency meeting with some advisors, as well as police and security force officials. Instructions have been given from the meeting to arrest those involved in the attack as soon as possible."

The Chief Adviser also said: "The government will bear all expenses of Hadi's treatment." Considering his physical condition, the government will provide the best treatment wherever needed, both at home and abroad.

"Hadi is a very dear and loving person to all of us. We wish him a speedy recovery. We are praying for him, we hope he will return to us soon," the CA said.
