Govt calls for nationwide prayers for Khaleda Zia’s recovery
The interim government has urged people across the country to offer prayers for the quick recovery of BNP Chairperson and three-time former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
The call was made on Thursday morning through a post from the verified Facebook page of the Chief Adviser (GOB).
According to the announcement, special prayers will be held after Jummah prayers on Friday in all mosques across the country, seeking her early recovery. Worshippers at temples, churches, pagodas and other religious establishments have also been requested to hold prayers according to their respective religious customs.
The government further appealed to the general public to pray from wherever they are for the better health and well-being of Khaleda Zia, who has long been suffering from multiple critical health complications.
