Calling on the people to refrain from all kinds of mob justice, the interim government's cultural adviser Mustafa Sarwar Farooqui said that the government does not support any kind of mob justice. He said that now is the time of nation-building, we have to be vigilant and stand by each other.

He said these things to journalists while visiting the 'China Book House' at the Bangla Academy Book Fair on Friday (February 7) afternoon.

Farooqui said that the fallen dictatorship must behave with restraint. It has only been 6 months since so many people have been killed and they are still under trial, but instead of facing trial in the country, they are making provocative comments. If there is mobbing anywhere, the interim government will definitely prevent it. The police and law enforcement agencies in the country are aware.

Regarding the Ekushey Padak, the adviser said, "Earlier, incompetent party members were awarded, but now that process is no longer there. We have broken it. We are trying to free ourselves as a nation by giving posthumous awards."

The cultural adviser was accompanied by Chinese Ambassador to Dhaka Yao Wen during the book fair. He said that China is ready to cooperate with Bangladesh. They are also thinking about cultural exchanges beyond the economy. China has already built three hospitals for the better treatment of the people of Bangladesh. They are also working on treating those injured in the July Revolution. He said that an announcement will be made in this regard soon.

After the fair, various traditional Chinese cultures were exhibited in front of the advisor, ambassador and visitors.
