Govt issues seven directives to educational institutions ahead of PM’s Gold Cup
The government has directed all educational institutions across Bangladesh to step up promotional activities for the Prime Minister's Gold Cup National Football Competition 2026.
The Secondary and Higher Education Directorate (SHED) issued the seven-point directive in a notice on Tuesday (August 25), covering schools, colleges, madrasas and field-level education offices.
Under the directive, institutions must display banners at their main gates and prominent locations on their campuses.
Education offices at the field level have also been asked to install the competition's logo, mascot, dropdown gate banners and festoons at important public places within their jurisdictions.
Institutions must inform students and teachers about the tournament through classroom notices, display related information on notice boards and promote the competition through their official social media platforms.
They have also been instructed to publish promotional content about the Prime Minister’s Gold Cup National Football Competition 2026 on their official websites.
