Hadi being taken to Evercare Hospital

Following the family’s decision, gunshot victim Sharif Osman Hadi is being transferred from Dhaka Medical College Hospital to Evercare Hospital in the capital.

Director of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Brigadier General Md. Asaduzzaman, confirmed the information on Friday evening at 6.45 pm.

Hadi, spokesperson of Inquilab Mancha, had announced his candidacy as an independent candidate for Dhaka-8 constituency. Earlier today, he was shot by assailants in Bijoynagar. The gunshot wound to his head left him critically injured, and he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

In the afternoon, Brigadier General Md. Asaduzzaman said, “Hadi’s condition is critical. He has been placed on life support.”
