Hadi’s janaza draws Thousands, elder brother leads prayer
Inqilab Mancha Spokesperson Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi's Namaaz-E-Janaza has been held on Saturday afternoon (December 20) at the South Plaza of the National Parliament, drawing a massive turnout of mourners.
The funeral prayer was led by Hadi’s elder brother, Abu Bakar Siddique.
Chief Adviser of the interim government Dr. Muhammad Yunus, members of the advisory council, and senior leaders from various political parties were among those who attended the janaza.
Earlier, the Chief Adviser’s press wing said the janaza schedule had been revised due to security considerations. Although initially set for 2:30pm, the prayer was ultimately held at 2:00pm.
Authorities also urged attendees not to carry bags or heavy items. Drone flights were completely banned in and around the Parliament complex as part of heightened security measures.
