Hafizullah Khan new Director General of PMO

Abul Khair Mohammad Hafizullah Khan, Joint Secretary of the Local Government Division, has been appointed as the Director General of the Prime Minister's Office.

A notification to this effect was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday night, September 16. Through the notification, Hafizullah Khan's service has been placed with the Prime Minister's Office.

He was previously serving as Joint Secretary in the Local Government Division. In his new role, he will serve as Director General of the Prime Minister's Office.

On the other hand, in a separate notification, the current Director General of the Prime Minister's Office, Dr Ahmed Ullah, has been transferred.

He has been appointed as Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce. The transfer order was announced in a notification from the Ministry of Public Administration.

Through the appointment of the new and outgoing officials, administrative responsibilities at the Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Commerce have been changed.
