Hasina verdict to be announced after 12pm instead of 11am
The time for announcing the verdict in the crimes against humanity case against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and two others has been delayed.
Although the verdict was scheduled for 11am, tribunal sources said it will now be delivered sometime after 12pm.
The three-member International Crimes Tribunal-1, headed by Justice Golam Mortuza Majumder, will announce the verdict.
The other two members of the tribunal are Justice Md Shafiul Alam Mahmood and Justice Md Mohitul Haque Enam Chowdhury.
BTV and news agency Reuters will broadcast the historic verdict live from the Tribunal-1 courtroom. The tribunal’s Facebook page will also stream the proceedings live. Additionally, large screens have been set up at ten locations across Dhaka for public viewing.
