Al-Haiatul Ulya Lil-Jamiatil Qawmia Bangladesh has formed a central 'Qawmi Madrasa Monitoring Cell' to strengthen complaint reception, data collection, fact-checking and oversight activities related to Qawmi madrasas. Additionally, decisions have been made to launch a special hotline for receiving complaints and to form a legal panel for legal assistance.

These decisions were made at a meeting titled 'Al-Haiatul Ulya's role in preventing anti-Qawmi madrasa propaganda and tackling emerging situations' held at the Al-Haiatul Ulya office in the capital on Wednesday (July 29).

The meeting announced the launch of a special hotline at 01700-763178 (WhatsApp) for complaints, information, images, videos, documents and fact-checking related to Qawmi madrasas. Messages, voice calls and necessary documents can be sent to this number.

The meeting formed a central monitoring cell comprising representatives from the six education boards under Al-Haiatul Ulya. It was also decided that each education board would form separate monitoring cells to oversee the activities of their affiliated madrasas.

Additionally, a decision was made to form a legal panel comprising experienced lawyers from the High Court and Supreme Court to provide necessary legal assistance and take legal action on matters related to Qawmi madrasas.
