HSC exams under Chattogram board suspended until July 16
The HSC and equivalent examinations under the Chattogram board have been suspended until July 16 due to adverse weather and flood conditions.
The decision was taken following discussions between Education Minister A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon and the district commissioners of the affected districts.
Prime Minister's Education and Primary and Mass Education Adviser Mahdi Amin announced the suspension at a press conference on Saturday afternoon, July 11.
He said the prime minister is continuously monitoring government efforts to address the flood situation. He said the government has taken multi-faceted steps to tackle the natural disaster with accountability and utmost priority.
Mahdi Amin also said the prime minister has instructed administration officials to stand by the affected people, and that all ministries are playing important roles accordingly.
The Chattogram board covers Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Rangamati, Bandarban and Khagrachhari districts.
