Indian High Commissioner meets President at Bangabhaban

Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Dinesh Trivedi paid a courtesy call on President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at Bangabhaban on Tuesday, September 8.

The meeting was announced in a Facebook post by the Indian High Commission in Dhaka after the meeting.

The High Commissioner conveyed his warm greetings to the President and wished him success in his continued service to the people of Bangladesh, the High Commission said.

During the discussions, the High Commissioner highlighted the shared history, close cultural ties and deep bonds between the people of Bangladesh and India.

They placed special emphasis on strengthening bilateral partnership for the mutual benefit of the peoples of the two sovereign states.
