Information Secretary urges new officials to work following rules

The five-day orientation training of the 43rd BCS information cadre officials has been completed. At the certificate distribution and closing ceremony after the training, Information and Broadcasting Ministry Secretary Mahbuba Farzana said, 'New officials must work in the service of the country by following government rules.'

She made this call at a program at the Information Building on Tuesday (January 21). This information was given in a press release by the ministry on Wednesday (January 22).

Mentioning various limitations in the workplace, the secretary said, 'The workplace may not always be favorable. We must create a positive environment in the workplace through our own efficiency.'

Stressing the need for new officials to work for the welfare of the people, she said, to reach the hearts of the people, government officials must acquire positive qualities. She urged the new officials to fulfill their assigned duties with honesty, efficiency and professionalism, motivated by patriotism.

Praising the performance of the officers participating in the five-day orientation training, the secretary said that the information service will move forward with the help of the new officers. He assured the ministry of all-round cooperation in fulfilling the duties of the new officers.
