Investigation committee within 5 working days

Home Affairs Adviser Lieutenant General Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (retd) has said that an investigation committee will be formed within the next 5 working days to ensure justice in the BDR killings.

He said this at a special press conference on the BDR killings at the Home Ministry conference room at the Secretariat on Tuesday (December 17) morning.

The adviser said, “The interim government is determined to reinvestigate and ensure justice in the BDR killings. The Home Ministry has been working towards this goal since the formation of the interim government. As the adviser of this ministry, I have been vocal from the beginning to reinvestigate and ensure justice in the BDR killings, and I still am.”

He said, “I have been demanding justice in the BDR killings from the beginning. I announced this for the first time in the Home Ministry on September 2 and for the second time during my visit to the BGB headquarters on November 4, which was published in the media.”
