ISPR urges complaints against fraud using army's name in industrial areas
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), some dishonest individuals and interest groups are exploiting the names of senior military officials to carry out fraudulent activities, including granting rights to the jute business and other deceptive practices, which is harming the reputation of the Bangladesh Army.
The organization stated that the Bangladesh Army's sole focus is on maintaining law and order and ensuring a productive work environment in industrial areas. It clarified that the Army does not engage in recommending any businesses, including the jute trade, or any other business-related activities.
If any individual or group attempts to use the name of an Army officer to obtain illegal business or unethical advantages in industrial areas, they are urged to report it by filing a complaint at the following numbers: 01769091020, 01769095198, and 01769095209.
