Jamaat-e-Islami has formally invited Prime Minister Tarique Rahman to their Iftar programme scheduled for February 28 at the Bangladesh-China Maitri Conference Centre. The invitation was delivered on Wednesday morning (February 25) at the Secretariat by the party’s Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar. He personally met with the prime minister at the secretariate today and offered the invitation. Mia Golam Parwar told reporters that the Iftar event will begin at 5:00pm and that PM Tarique Rahman had accepted the invitation with appreciation.

বাংলাদেশ জামায়াতে ইসলামী প্রধানমন্ত্রী তারেক রহমানকে তাদের ইফতারের অনুষ্ঠানে আমন্ত্রণ জানিয়েছে। আগামী ২৮ ফেব্রুয়ারি (শনিবার) বাংলাদেশ-চীন মৈত্রী সম্মেলন কেন্দ্রে অনুষ্ঠিতব্য এই অনুষ্ঠানে দাওয়াত পৌঁছে দিতে আজ বুধবার সকালে সচিবালয়ে যান দলের সেক্রেটারি জেনারেল মিয়া গোলাম পরওয়ার। প্রধানমন্ত্রীর সঙ্গে সাক্ষাতের পর মিয়া গোলাম পরওয়ার সাংবাদিকদের জানান, আগামী ২৮ ফেব্রুয়ারি বিকেল ৫টায় বাংলাদেশ চীন মৈত্রী সম্মেলন কেন্দ্রে আমাদের ইফতার অনুষ্ঠান আয়োজন করা হয়েছে। উনি (প্রধানমন্ত্রী) দাওয়াত খুব আন্তরিকতার সঙ্গেই কবুল করেছেন।
