Jatiya Chhatra Shakti announces central, DU partial committees

The Jatiya Chhatra Shakti, student wing of the National Citizen Party (NCP), has announced its central and Dhaka University (DU) unit partial committees.

The panels were announced in separate statements on Friday night (October 31).

Jahid Ahsan has been named central president, with Abu Baker Mojumdar as general secretary.

Additionally, Abu Touhid Md Siyam and Mohir Alam have been made organisational secretaries for the northern and southern regions, respectively.

In the DU unit, Tahmid Al Muddassir Chowdhury has been appointed president, Al Amin Sarkar general secretary, and Md Saifullah organisational secretary.

The announcement, signed by the central president and general secretary, stated that both committees will be finalised within seven working days.

Jahid Ahsan previously served as central member secretary of the Bangladesh Ganatantrik Chhatra Sangsad (BAGCHAS), while Abu Baker Mojumdar, a 2019–20 session student of the DU Geology Department, was a coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and former convener of BAGCHAS.
