JnUCSU elections postponed after news of Khaleda Zia's death

The Jagannath University Central Students' Union (JnUCSU) elections have been postponed following the death of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.

The decision was announced by the university's Vice-Chancellor Rezaul Karim after an emergency syndicate meeting on Tuesday morning.

He said the new date for the elections will be announced later.

Voting for the first central student union election of Jagannath University was scheduled to take place from 8:30 am to 3 pm today.

But after learning about the death of Khaleda Zia in the morning, the university authorities called an emergency syndicate meeting and took this decision.
