Journalist Shaukat Mahmood, former president of the National Press Club and BFUJ, has been detained by detectives from outside his residence. DMP additional commissioner (Detective Branch), Shafiqul Islam, confirmed the development on Sunday evening. He said Shaukat Mahmood was detained in connection with a case filed by Enayet Karim. The next steps will be taken after interrogation.
