Jubo Dal's new leadership will work for country's welfare: Mirza Fakhrul
BNP Secretary General and Local Government Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said the newly formed Jubo Dal committee will further strengthen the organisation across the country and play a vital role in the nation's welfare.
He made these remarks after paying tribute at the graves of late president Ziaur Rahman and former prime minister Khaleda Zia at Zia Udyan in the capital on Saturday, June 13. The event marked the first programme of the newly approved full central committee of Jubo Dal.
Mirza Fakhrul said BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman has approved the full committee of Jubo Dal. "We hope that through this committee, Jubo Dal will grow into a stronger organisation with renewed vigour," he said .
He further said the role of the youth is extremely important for the country's development and welfare, and Jubo Dal will carry out that responsibility appropriately.
"One of the current government's key policies is to bring the youth to the forefront, because the future of the country depends on the hands of the youth," Mirza Fakhrul said .
He expressed confidence that under the leadership of Tarique Rahman, the new committee of Jubo Dal would play an effective role in the country's development and the welfare of its people .
After paying tribute, a special prayer was offered seeking forgiveness for the departed souls of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman and Begum Khaleda Zia. Jubo Dal Central President Abdul Monayem Munna, General Secretary Mohammad Nurul Islam Nayan and other central leaders were present on the occasion.
