July Shaheed Smriti Foundation provides expenses details
On the last day of the year, the July Shaheed Smriti Foundation has given details of its expenses. This money has been spent on the treatment of those injured in the July uprising and on supporting the families of those killed.
According to information sent by the Press Wing of the Chief Advisor on Tuesday (December 31), a total of about 48 crore taka has been spent so far by the foundation for those injured and killed in the July uprising.
A total of 2,228 people have been supported by the foundation so far. Of these, 32 crore taka has been given to the families of 648 victims. And the remaining 1,580 people are injured, for whom a little more than 15.58 crore taka has been given.
It is worth noting that the 'July Shaheed Smriti Foundation' was formed to provide treatment to those injured in the movement in July-August and to stand by the families of those killed. The general secretary of this foundation is Sarjis Alam, leader of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and the main organizer of the National Citizens' Committee.
