Jumatul Wida being observed today
Muslims across Bangladesh are observing Jumatul Wida today, marking the final Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.
The day holds special religious significance for Muslims, as it falls on the last Friday of Ramadan, which is considered particularly important for prayers and reflection.
Thousands of worshippers are expected to gather at mosques nationwide, including the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, to offer Jumma prayers. Khateebs and Islamic scholars will deliver sermons highlighting the significance of Jumatul Wida.
Special prayers and supplications will be held after Jumma prayers, seeking peace, prosperity and well-being for the nation and the global Muslim community.
The observance also marks the final phase of Ramadan, with Muslims preparing to bid farewell to the holy month ahead of the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr, expected to be observed across the country on Saturday.
