Khaleda Zia’s health status slightly better, doctors say
BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia’s health has shown slight improvement, according to her specialist physician Dr. Shahabuddin Talukdar.
She is currently receiving treatment in a hospital cabin.
Dr. Shahabuddin Talukdar provided the update to the media at Evercare Hospital on Tuesday morning (November 25).
Shairul Kabir Khan, a member of BNP’s media cell, citing party Standing Committee member Dr. A Z M Zahid Hossain, confirmed that Khaleda Zia is under the supervision of a medical board and her condition has improved compared to earlier.
Khaleda Zia was brought to Evercare Hospital on Sunday night from her Gulshan residence, Firoza, for health examinations. Following the medical board’s recommendations, she was admitted for necessary tests and treatment. The former Prime Minister has long suffered from multiple health issues, including arthritis, diabetes, kidney and lung problems, and eye complications.
