Khaleda Zia's treatment: UK expert team arrives at Evercare Hospital

A team of expert doctors from the UK has arrived at Evercare Hospital in the capital to provide medical assistance to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia. Her personal physician Dr. Al Mamun confirmed the matter on Wednesday (December 3).

Dr. Mamun said that the expert team is being led by Dr. Richard Billy. Although Khaleda Zia's physical condition is currently stable, the hospital's medical board felt the need to ensure better treatment and conduct a deep assessment of the ongoing medical management. In view of that, two expert teams were invited from the UK and China.

BNP Chairperson's media wing officer Shairul Kabir Khan said that it is expected that new directions will be found in Khaleda Zia's treatment with the participation of foreign experts.

He also said that the Evercare Hospital medical board has already shared the necessary medical reports, recent test information and data with the foreign doctors so that they can work in a coordinated manner from the beginning and take the best measures in treatment.
