Bangladeshi lady mountaineer Shayla Bithi has came under
an attack while crossing Dhanmondi 27 over-bridge on Saturday afternoon. 
She informed that while crossing the Dhanmondi 27
over-bridge some unidentified miscreants attacked her from behind. She was
badly beaten up which resulted fatal injuries on her body. 
She added that the attack was carried out in broad daylight at
around 2pm in the afternoon and the whole incident must have been captured on
CCTV. As a result, identifying criminals should not be difficult. 
Shayla Bithi later went to Mohammadpur police station to
file a complaint.

(২১ সেপ্টেম্বর) দুপুরে রাজধানীর ধানমণ্ডি ২৭ নম্বর ওভারব্রিজ
পার হওয়ার সময় তার ওপর
হামলা হয়।
শায়লা
বিথী জানান, ওভারব্রিজে ওঠার পর পেছন
থেকে হামলা চালায় অজ্ঞাতপরিচয় দুর্বৃত্তরা। বেধড়ক মারধর করা হলে তার
শরীরে মারাত্মক জখম হয়।
তিনি
বলেন, দুপুর দু্ইটার দিকে প্রকাশ্য দিবালোকে
হামলা চালানো হয়েছিল এবং পুরো ঘটনাটি
অবশ্যই সিসিটিভিতে ধরা পড়েছে। ফলে
অপরাধীদের শনাক্ত করা কঠিন হওয়ার
কথা নয়। 
পরে
মোহাম্মদপুর থানায় অভিযোগ করতে যান শায়লা
বিথী।
