LP gas prices raised by Tk53

The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has been increased by Tk 53, with the cost of a 12kg cylinder rising to Tk 1,306 from Tk 1,253, the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced on Sunday (January 4).

The revised prices will come into effect from this evening.

At the same time, the price of autogas has been raised by Tk 2.48 to Tk 59.80 per litre, up from Tk 57.32.

In December, BERC had increased the price of a 12kg LPG cylinder by Tk 38 to Tk 1,253, while autogas prices were raised by Tk 1.74 per litre to Tk 57.32.
